Tretman zemljišta u prolećnim usevima

Long-lasting drought conditions have so far been withstood by spring crops. The rain that arrived at the last moment is welcome, but farmers still have reasons to be concerned. This is the right time to provide your crops with sufficient nutrients and help them cope with unfavourable climatic conditions.

We must remember that the soil is the main source of nutrients and that plants feed from the soil. For this reason, we recommend soil treatment with the microbiological fertilisers Biofor Active, Nitrogenius, and Biofor BioP. The microorganisms contained in these fertilisers will help convert nutrient forms that are inaccessible to plants into forms available for plant uptake.

 

Biofor Active – Biological NPK Fertiliser

At the moment, your crops are in the emergence and early growth stages, and the phase of intensive growth and development lies ahead. In order for plants to develop intensively, a strong and vigorous root system is essential. By treating the soil with Biofor Active, the plant root system becomes strong, vigorous, and highly branched. The auxins produced by the bacteria in Biofor Active stimulate root growth, root branching, and the development of root hairs, which are crucial for the uptake of nutrients and water from the soil. Such a strong, branched, and well-developed root system will provide plants with nutrients and enable efficient water uptake from different soil layers.Soil treatment with Biofor Active ensures a continuous supply of the primary macronutrients to plants. Aktivna komponenta ovog preparata su zemljišne bakterije koje, biljkama nepristupačne forme nutrijenata u zemljištu, prevode u pristupačne forme. Naime, hranljive materije u zemljištu se nalaze u „bazenima“ koji se razlikuju po tome koliko su hranljive materije dostupne usevima. Fosfor i kalijum imaju sklonost da postanu „vezani“ u zemljištu i stoga nedostupni biljkama. U ovim uslovima metabolizam biljaka “pati” usled nedostatka ovih elemenata, bez obzira na njihovo prisustvo u zemljištu. Ali, ovi “zarobljeni”  nutrijenti nisu zauvek izgubljeni i aktivnošću zemljišnih mikroorganizama iz Biofor Active postaju dostupni biljkama. Zahvaljujući aktivnosti procesa azotofiksacije atmosferski azot postaje dostupan biljkama. Zemljišnim tretmanom Biofor Active na efikasan, ekološki i ekonomski opravdan način Vaši usevi dobijaju NPK.  Zemljišnim tretmanom Biofor Active u dozi 2 l/ha, povećava se brojnost zemljišnih bakterija i ukupna biogenost zemljišta. Pored toga, bakterije iz Biofor Active, zahvaljujući produkciji egzopolisaharida utiču na poboljšanje stukture zemljišta i vodno-vazdušni režim zemljišta čime se olakšavaju uslovi za rast korenovog sistema.

 

Nitrogenius – No Leaching and No Release of Nitrogen into the Atmosphere

During this period, when nitrogen requirements are particularly pronounced, we recommend Nitrogenius at a rate of 3 l/ha. The bacteria from the Nitrogenius product introduced during this stage of plant growth contribute to the continuous supply of nitrogen to crops throughout all stages of growth. Thanks to the activity of the bacterium Azotobacter, which fixes elemental nitrogen and converts it into the ammonium form directly absorbed by plants, crops are supplied with nitrogen throughout the entire growing season.These bacteria develop directly in the root zone and deliver nitrogen directly to the plants. It is important to emphasise the significance of utilising the potential of Azotobacter in preventing nitrogen losses in the soil, because nitrogen fixed in this way remains in the soil, with no leaching and no release into the atmosphere.

This is a way of supplying crops with nitrogen in an efficient, environmentally friendly, and economically justified manner. At times when plant demand for nitrogen is high, a shortage often occurs in the soil, making continuous nitrogen supply extremely important. By applying Nitrogenius, Azotobacter bacteria are introduced into the soil, enabling nitrogen supply and filling the gap at critical moments of nitrogen availability. In addition, the introduction and multiplication of Azotobacter in the soil creates favourable conditions for plant growth and development.

 

Biofor BioP – Mineral Forms of Phosphorus in the Soil Become Available to Plants Throughout the Entire Growing Season

On somewhat heavier and poorer soils, often with impaired structure, or on saline soils, it is best to use Biofor BioP at a rate of 3 l/ha in the first treatment, as the only way to ensure a sufficient supply of phosphorus under these conditions, a nutrient essential for the overall health and vigour of every plant. It should be kept in mind that phosphorus availability in the soil is low and that it reacts very quickly with clay, iron, and aluminium compounds, thereby becoming unavailable. It should also be noted that phosphorus is poorly mobile and generally remains close to the point of application. Thanks to the bacteria contained in Biofor BioP, both organic and mineral forms of phosphorus in the soil become available to plants throughout the entire growing season. The activity of these bacteria ensures a continuous phosphorus supply, which is of particular importance for all crops, considering that phosphorus stimulates root development, increases stem and leaf strength, improves flower formation and seed production, contributes to crop uniformity and earlier maturity, and increases plant resistance to diseases.

Biofor BioP also represents an effective solution for eliminating the occurrence of red colouring in maize, which is increasingly common during this stage of maize development and represents a symptom of locked phosphorus. Through the activity of the bacteria contained in Biofor BioP, phosphorus reserves that are “trapped” in the soil become available to plants, thereby increasing the efficiency of mineral phosphorus fertilisers.Let us unlock phosphorus in the soil through the timely application of Biofor BioP.
